Hello,

I'm a little confused the count numbers on my Megan output. At the bottom of the window it says Assigned = 95,886,848 aligned bases, but this number doesn't match with any of the summed counts on the graph. The sum of Cellular organisms (Summed) and NCBI (Assigned) is 95,886,848 + 28. There is no virus node on the graph, Cellular organisms and Not assigned are the only nodes under NCBI. Where am I getting these 28 extra aligned bases and what is the real number of assigned aligned bases?
