Missing normal samples in transcriptomic data from GDC portal
Hi, I downloaded a transcriptomic data from portal.gdc.cancer.gov for RNA-seq and my data from Ovary cancer include (primary tumor and recurrent tumor) samples, there's no normal samples.
is there any explanation for that ?! thanks

Most cancer projects don't spend money sequencing normal transcriptome. You can go to GTEx for normals of unmatched patients
