Finding the number of CpG sites in rainbow trout reference genome
Hello everyone,
I'm new in the field of bioinformatics. I need to find the number of CpG sites (or GC sites) in the reference genome of the rainbow trout. I've tried to find the information in NBCBI & ensembl. However, I didn't find it.
In addition, I need to compute the % of GC sites in my samples comparing to the genome. Do I need to omit the number of GC sites in MT chromosome and scaffolds?
Is there anyone who can help me?
