Obtain [sample source] field from GEO databse

Let's say I am interested in GEO experiments that use cells from the liver.

Given that the [sample source] field is user defined, and _not_ curated, experiments have a variety of different strings associated with them. (doc https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/info/qqtutorial.html)

For a given experiment, e.g. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/query/acc.cgi?acc=GSE8858 I would like to know the entry for the [sample source] field. Even better, for a list of geo accessions I would like to know the [sample source] entries in each case.

This information does not appear to be available using the search API or partially downloading metadata eg through GEOparse etc.

Thanks!
