as it is written in the title I would like to plot 6 correlation matrices into one correlogram, where each of the 6 conditions would be a small square/rectangle inside a big one for a particular variable. So, my dataset consists of numerous quantitative variables and a factor variable that has 6 levels (control, and 5 treatments). I calculated the correlations, and have a list of calculated matrices but am stuck in getting it plotted. The rationale for such arrangement lies in the fact that it might be much easier to grasp such a plot, instead of 6 individual plots. I know it should be possible, just have a look at this one:
