How to find neighbouring genes

Hi, I have a list of 7319 repeated elements and their chromosomal location and I want to know all the genes that are around where they are located (either harbouring, flanking or antisense to them). How can I do that? I have tried biomaRt, but with no success. Thanks a lot! Lucas
