I'm trying to generate a taxonomic tree from a list of NCBI taxa ids. I was able to get a .phy tree file from the NCBI taxonomy browser. Ideally, I'd like to create a circular taxonomic tree up to the genus level. I tried viewing the file with iTOL but it includes everything up to the species level. I'm not sure if iTOL allows me to remove species information. If so, I can't figure out how. What I'm trying to do seems to be relatively simple. Does anybody have suggestions? Thanks!
