Hello!
I am trying to download the S2F2 genome of the planarian S mediterranea here:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/1267084223
However, I can't download it from that link. The website states:
This entry is the master record for a whole genome shotgun sequencing project and contains no sequence data.
I am very unfamiliar with GenBank and with how genomes are stored and downloaded. Could anybody help me understand what that sentence above exactly mean? In this case, how can I find a link to download the fastq for the genome?
Thanks so much!!!

That seems like just the metadata for the sequencing project with out genome sequences.
If you see in the left hand side of the website, you will find 'Genome' link which will take you to the links for available genomes for the species.
You can download the sequence from this link: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/browse/#!/eukaryotes/232/ Just select the link to the assembly for your strain
Or this link: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome?LinkName=nuccore_genome&from_uid=1267084223 If you want to download the representative genome for the species.
I'm not familiar with how genomes are stored their either.
But I didn't run to the internet, I poked around.
Is this what you want?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Traces/wgs/NNSW01?display=contigs&page=1
Or this?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/datasets/genomes/?txid=79327
Or this?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome?LinkName=nuccore_genome&from_uid=1267084223
