Are There Any Other Journal Clubs Initiatives?

I came across this Molecular Dynamics Journal Club

http://annotatr.appspot.com/citeulike/article/9295910

I wonder if you know any other similar, and focused in other bioinformatics branches

You probably want to look at this post for some similar answers

There is a Bioinformatics group on citeulike: http://www.citeulike.org/groupfunc/664/home I notice that several users of Biostar frequently add journal articles to that group. Since Citeulike has forums and blogs and message boards associated with each article, it would be great if someone actually initiated a journal club based on that framework within citeulike. All the tools are there, it just needs some organization.

Plasmyd.com lets you search for a paper then comment on it, so technically you could share the link (i.e How To Generate Multi-Nucleotide Occupancy Counts For Each Coordinate Of My Reads? and your friends could comment on it.

On Twitter, @laikas hosts a weekly journal club. @westr participates in a weekly discussions, typically around rheumatoid arthritis, but also other topics at the intersection of medicine and genomics. I think there must be many such efforts ongoing.
