I'm needing to download the CAZy database sequences. However, I need the number of hits for each sequence. Anyone have any script to automate this I?

I use dbCAN, it's based on CAZy database and regularly updated. You can annotate your protein online, or download the database then do blastp/hmmscan search locally.
I found out that dbCAN cannot be accessed recently,and there is nowhere to download CAZymes database anymore,what should I do to deal with that?

Even that your question is old, I'll provide this answer in case that anyone else should be interested in a solution to get all sequences in the CAZy database.

For your second need, I'm unsure why you'd need the number of redundant sequences?
