Dear all,
I have a list of miRNA sequences, and need to generate randomly permutated sequences that have identical sizes and base compositions as the authentic miRNAs. These ransomized sequences will be used as negative control. How to achieve this?
As I know, the D. Bartel lab produced MiRshuffle, which however I cannot find for download on the internet.
I welcome any of your suggestions. Thank you very much!
If you need identical base composition take a look at emboss shuffleseq, might be what you're looking for.
