What Is Mike Eisen'S Biggest Biological Discovery?

Hello all,

This is a genuine question, not a trick question or snub. I was trying to convince someone about being successful in science without publishing Science/Nature/Cell based on Mike Eisen's blog post ("my career has flourished without publications in the “big three”"), but did not have a one or two line answer about the biological discoveries made by him. Would someone help me? For example, in my case, I would say that I was the first to show that lncRNAs were functional.

I asked here, because for most of the time I followed his work (prior to 2007), he represented himself as a bioinformatician.

I have been to the hhmi profile before asking here, but could not figure out one or two biggest discoveries made by him. Mostly it reads like plan of work. Surely you could help by answering the question, if it were so easy, instead of simply closing the question.
