How To Identify Synergism Or Adversity Of Two Drugs?

I would like to know if we can precisely identify (like 1 or 0) for given two drugs that interaction is synergism or adverse. Some of the data is provided by DrugBank but most of the times it leads to a confusing situation - whether drugs are interacting adversely or not. Answer I seek is if there is any data or DB which specify succinctly in a word or two about drug-drug interaction (in terms of synergism or adversity).

I have yet to come across a database like this. I think your best bet is to look through the litterature (i.e. some drug name + synergy.) There may also be some info on the FDA website about which drugs you are allowed to combine (possibly because of synergy) and which you should _not_ combine (adversity.)

Thanks Malachi, for sharing the information but its more of gene/protein - chemical thing. My question is with drug-drug interaction.
