Are there minimal code examples out there with which do mcmc-based phylogenetic inference? I'd like to see how the tree sampling and evolutionary models are implemented in practice. I know the there are some tools that are open source, but it's difficult to wade through 50-100,000 lines of code meant to handle very generalized cases to find the relevant bits to the main algorithm. I'm looking for a minimal implementation example.
