What Format Are The Results Of A Colorspace Assembly Using Velvet (Velvetg_De) In? Double Encoded Or Basespace?

I performed an assembly using SOLiD data with velvet which had been compiled with the make color option. I am unable to tell whether the contigs produced after the velvetg_de step are in double-encoded colorspace or basespace. The manual isn't helpful either. What is it? And how can I convert them to basespace if they are in colorspace?

solid assembly

The output is in colorspace. You can use asid (Assembly Assistant for SOLiD) or denovo_postprocessor to convert it to basespace.
