How To Learn About Next Generation Gene Sequencing

Sorry if my question is naive but I want to learn about next generation gene sequencing how to deal with the data output, as most posts about jobs demands "Ability to manage and analyze large biological data sets coming from next generation sequencing" so if you please can any one support me with any online resource , books that I can access to learn about this topic also a source of data to analyze and learn from it, there is a post here in Biostar showing some paper related to the topic can be found here Sequencing technology review papers as there is more? books tutorial etc...

I found also this Wiki Next Generation Sequencing

This might be really helpful for you. http://www.csc.fi/english/csc/courses/archive/ngs_workshop. This is ngs workshop, but there you can find slides and datasets, which might be helpful.

Relatively up-to-date book:

Bioinformatics for High Throughput Sequencing

Rodríguez-Ezpeleta, Naiara; Hackenberg, Michael; Aransay, Ana M

Do you know any source for data to train on it?

thanks man you diverse another point :)

There's a practical course on NGS here, with video lectures and exercises.

Online courses from EBI are very useful. You can find a list of bioinformatics-related blogs here.

Here is a video lecture series that is quite popular: Current Topics in Genome Analysis 2014 (collection of educational lectures)
