As Neil pointed out, you really need to provide more details. e.g. I can and have used Tablet running on Linux with the display on Mac OS X using ssh.
Alternatively, run Tablet on your local machine, and in the open-file dialog stick in a URL. The BAM file format is designed to work nicely like this (as long as there is a BAI index file on the server too).

More detailed error messages than "it doesn't work" would be useful.
We need more details than this. What OS is running, remotely and locally? How do you access the remote machine (e.g. SSH) ? What, if any, error messages do you see?

As no more details have been given (I think 3 days is sufficient time to wait?), I'm closing as "no longer relevant".
