What Can Vcftools Do For Me?
Today I tried to install VCFtools myself and test it but still no success, so I thought well perhaps I can just what I wanted to test with VCFTools and if you have used it, probably you know the answer
Does it have a way to parse a VCF file and tell us for example the rows on it if they are a substitution, or a deletion or an insertion?
Does it have a way to parse a VCF file and give me an output of the things I am interested in? for example I am interested to know the chromosome, its location, direction, Reference Sequence, Variant Name, Variant Classification ?
