Transcript Support level (TSL) is a flag in the ensembl browser that indicate the well and poorly supported transcript models. The transcipts are annotated with reference to mRNAs and EST support. That being said, can i use such flags as a criteria to filter lncRNAs transcripts for further analysis with the assumption that the transcript with the better TSL (1 being the best and 5 being the least reliable) rank as the best from the rest of the transcripts? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
