metaphlan2.py ERROR: Unable to create folder for database install
Hello, I am trying to perform to profile a metagenome using metaphlan2.py, but an error appears ERROR: Unable to create folder for database install. It is also not possible to create a folder yourself. Thank you in advance for your answer.

Please post full error. It could be that metaphlan is installed as root and metaphlan is trying to download database to that folder. If it is installed via conda/brew etc, check the folder permission. If that is not possble, metaphlan allows user to furnish database externally, try to use that option.
