Thank you!,
That what I just did!.
Maybe I didnt pay enough attention in the tutorial. But I am stuck now.
I have a network. It has 3 ID (MGI Gene symbol, Entrez ID, Ensmbl ID) I also have a list of GO Terms with ID of their genes in Entrez ID in a seperate .txt (opened using Excel). I want to group the genes in the network into their respectice GO Term.
Should I select the genes one by one? How to select multiple nodes in the Cytoscape network by using the list of Entrez ID of the specific GO Terms?
I tried to paste Entrez ID list in the Cytoscape search bar but it doesnt select the nodes.
Any help or guidance will be helpful!
Regards
Greetings, Well, my approach would be to import the GO Terms into Cytoscape, assuming that your file somehow shows only one GO Term for each node (which would be a bit unusual). Now, you would have the GO Term column in the node table, and you can simply use the search bar to search for a particular GO term, which would select all of the relevant nodes. You could even use the Group Attributes layout, which will move all of the nodes for you.
