I was reading a sentence as the following.

"perform sequence analysis – including subsampling, alignment, tree-inference, node dating etc., – by running a series of Augur commands in discrete steps." I was wondering, what is the meaning of "node dating"? Is it somehow underlying the structure of sequence phylogeny?
