Can anyone tell me how the total number of tested samples is derived from COSMIC when looking at the mutation frequency table under tissue distribution of a gene in COSMIC (example image below). I've been trying to reproduce these numbers from the complete mutation data downloads but nothing I try seems to come anywhere close to the numbers given by COSMIC. Any advice appreciated.
