Download ncbi database with filezilla

Good Morning, I'm using windows and I would like to download the nt database from ncbi with filezilla. However I get "Connection attempt failed with "ETIMEDOUT - Connection attempt timed out"." In the previous versions of the database, I used cygwin to download, but this time I want to try filezilla. Can someone help me please? Thanks

Which server name are you trying to connect to?

If you are getting a timeout then it is likely that local firewall may be preventing a successful FTP connection. Are you able to go to that URL via a browser? Perhaps that would be the way to download the files though it will require you to get the 27 files for NT individually.

I have Filezilla and gave it shot, looks to works just fine, paste URL in the host, then Quickconnect

As genomax mentions FTP might be blocked by the network firewall. See if your command line still works on the current system (network).
