Alternative Splicing Analysis

Hi all,

I am looking to analyze differential splicing across control and experimental samples. The lab I joined has previously used rMATS to quantify alternative splicing events, yet after some research it appears psichomics is more modern and maybe easier to use? Any suggestions or comments on the differences/advantages of using one or the other?
