Question about Quantifying Exon Expression with TPM
Hi,
Say that a hypothetical Gene A is made from two exons, exon 1 & exon 2.
If Gene A has a TPM value of 5, would we also say that exon 1 & exon 2 have TPM values of 5? If not, how would expression for these exons be determined?
Apologies in advance for what is admittedly very dumb question.
