Quality checks for submitted data in SRA & EMBL

Hi friends!!! I want to analyse already submitted SRA & EMBL data. Can anyone tell me whether these data are quality checked before submitted to repositories? can I analyse them directly or should I quality check them before my analysis?

It is what the authors upload, can be the best quality in the world or uttermost rubbish. Always do your own QC, even if someone tells you data are "excellent".
