When I use the command updata_blastdb_pl to download preformatted databases from NCBI, it works at first, but always end up as an incomplete file, i.e. the file size is less than original one . The system is Linux mint , and the command is update_blastdb.pl --passive --decompress refseq_protein, the error message is "unable to close at datastream at /home/../update_blastdb.pl line 321. Failed to download refseq_protein_00.tar.gz.md5". Can anyone give me some advices?
