Forum: Difference Between Proteome Organization And
Sorry, I am a computer science student, and I just started to work on structural biology. I am pretty new in this field and I would appreciate if you could you tell me what is the difference between proteome organization and protein interaction network for specific species? Are not they the same?

These terms are not as well defined as one might expect.
I would say that organization refers to a the hierarchical organization of proteins and tries do categorize the way they form various complexes at different stages of cellular function.
Protein interactions simply describe any type of interaction that could exist between two proteins.
