How to log-transform OR and its SE in GWAS summary statistics
Hi all, i'm doing some analysis on GWAS summary statistics which requires effect size and its Standard Error (SE). Some GWAS results provide Odds Ratio (OR) and its SE without log-transformation, how can i transform them into log scale?
AFAIK, OR does not follow normal distribution before log-transformation. Thus, the transformation of SE seems not that easy. I wish to learn from you about this question.
