Can i do Mirna DEG with rna seq data ?

Hello Can i Extract the mirnas from my RNA seq data and then perform a mirna DEG ? or just i can do this with mir-seq data ?

No. miRNAs require special library preparation due to the short size starting from special RNA extraction methods to capture them over the actual Illumina library prep. Even if you get miRNA counts from standard RNA-seq I would not trust them.
