I am trying to prepare for project and am new to using RAD-seq. Is it possible to send some samples for sequencing to get a preliminary dataset and then later combine those samples with a new dataset with more samples I sequence using the same company and methods afterwards? If so, what program/programs are best for this?

I am interested in doing a phylogenetics and pop gen project but am missing some species I hope to add later. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you!
