Hi all,

I am trying to install FIRE. I have installed pcre-8.42 in the directory /usr/local/src.

But upon running ./configure I get the error

"Attention: you don't appear to have libpcre installed on your machine."

I ran sudo sh install-pcre.sh(provided by the software itself) But I get the following error

install-pcre.sh: 2: install-pcre.sh: ./configure: Permission denied cd . && /bin/sh /Genomics/grid2/users/btsui/FIRE-1.1/PROGRAMS/pcre-7.4/missing --run automake-1.10 --gnu

Requesting solutions to resolve the error.
