Hello everyone, I am having a difficulty in opening the linkage format data file in Haploview. My data file is consist of the Subpopulation, Sample ID, Paternal ID, Maternal ID, Gender, Affection and the SNPs. Upon opening of the data file, this error message is shown: invalid gender or affected status on line.

PS. The individuals are categorized in 12 subpopulations, Ive numbered it into 1 to 12 and also used numbers for the Sample ID.

I hope someone could help me with my problem thanks a lot!
