Where can I get promotif?

Dear all,

I would like to draw protein topology with promotif. According to the introduction of promotif online (http://www.img.bio.uni-goettingen.de/ms-www/internal/manuals/promotif/promotif.html), it is available from the ftp server (IP address 128.40.46.11) , but I cannot open the website with the address (ftp:// 128.40.46.11). Do you know other way of get this software?

The two email address are also inaccessible. All emials I wrote to them were returned with the complaint that these email addresses do not exit.

Did you try this address as well? Or are you in the UK?

gail@bsm.bioc.ucl.ac.uk (if mailing from outside uk)

Btw. Did you notice the website is from 1996? There might be a chance that the website and tool is not maintained anymore. Did you think of that already?

As an alternative, DSSP may have some of what you need.
