How to get 'nucl_est.assession2taxid .gz' from NCBI
I am wondering where to get 'nucl_est.assession2taxid.gz' file now?
There is no corresponding file in NCBI FTPServer (ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pub/taxonomy/accession2taxid/ ), although the 'README' indicates it should be here...

EST sequences have been merged with nucleotide database. So I suggest checking that file first. README may not have been updated to reflect this.
If you are sure the file should be there then email NCBI helpdesk. Sometimes these automated update processes overnight may not complete properly and a file may go missing.
