Hello! I'ḿ looking for transparent information by professionals in the field about the following MSc:
- Denmark Technical University (DTU): Bioinformatics and System Biology MSc.
- KU Leuven: Master of Bioinformatics.
- Freie University of Berlin: MSc in Bioinformatics.
I come from a Biotechnology/Bioinformatics BSc, with Programming, molecular Biology and Mathematical/Statistics background. In your opinion, which of these MSc are best in terms of research, job opportunities in industry and teaching methods? Would you choose any of them over the Master Computational Biology and Bioinformatics in ETH (Zurich)?
I've already read their programs and I like all of them.
So you are sure you will be selected in all three? MS level programs should be reasonably similar at all places you mention and may result in similar post-graduation employment potential.
I've been already selected In DTU, Leuven and Wageningen.
Just from my own perspective and my 10-year career in bioinformatics so far, DTU and Leuven have good reputations and I know a couple of people there. I have honestly not heard of Freie University of Berlin.
