Hi

I am using the ballgown package for differential gene expression. i called the stattest function of ballgown with the following parameters as my command 

> results_transcripts = stattest(bg_chrX, feature="transcript",covariate="part", getFC=TRUE, meas="FPKM", timecourse = TRUE)

but I got the following warning message as

In stattest(bg_chrX, feature = "transcript", covariate = "part", : Not enough timepoints (or values of covariate) to fit a spline model with 4 degrees of freedom. Statistical tests will be run treating time as categorical. You can also re-run the analysis with decreased df.

Could you please tell me how to remove this warning to get the batter result.
