Is there a public database containing Sanger sequencing trace files?
It seems that some public databases were available decades ago but now I'm failing to find one. The one in NCBI is tricky to search and provides only SCF format. Is there any accessible database containing publicly available AB1 files? Please help!

Are you specifically after AB1 files or traces ? If the later, the European Nucleotide Archive stores traces but not as AB1 files.
I'm looking for AB1 files, thank you!
