Uploading of Genome to NCBI with unplaced scaffolds.

Hi, We uploaded our eukaryotic assembled genome to NCBI and assigned separately 29 chromosomes. And we have a few scaffolds unplaced. The option we choose is this.

ScreenshotOne or more chromosomes are still in multiple pieces and/or some sequences are not assembled into chromosomes

Are we in the right place? Thank You

assembly genome

Don't know what the other options are but this one certainly sounds about right...

In some projects they put all left over together and create an unknown chromosome that is part of the chromosome assembly. Like that the submission is probably easier. Maybe the DBs didn’t provide any other solution in the past. I don’t know if doing in that way is still accepted.
