Is the Ensembl.org website down today 11/3/2018
I am trying to download the GRCh38 .GFF3 annotation file. But I am having trouble accessing the "ensembl.org" downloads page where i usually go to get these files. All the ensembl mirrors appear to be inaccessible to me from multiple computers.
Does anyone know of an alternative website where i can download the GRCh38 GFF3 annotation?

Main Ensembl sites is NOT down. Mirrors (useast, uswest appear to be misbehaving. Use this link to get the GFF files.
Thanks! I am not sure what is going on locally (US east coast). Hopefully it's something wrong with my local connection or computers. VPN connecting to ensembl through the Netherlands worked for me.

Believe it or not dates are formatted differently in different countries. You can read about it here.
Which is why, whenever I'm writing for an international audience, I use words rather than numbers. Less confusing that way.
I would expect nothing less from such a courteous and professional commenter.
