Do genes starting with Gm have a canonical name yet?

Hi everyone

Do you know if the genes starting with Gm in mouse have a canonical name or not? I am stuck with those when I used gencode transcripts and gencode gtf for annotations too. My understanding is they don't have a canonical name yet. But some of them is mentioned to have overlap with Refseq, but does this mean we can use the name in Refseq or not. For example searching for Gm47283 I find it overlaps with Erdr1 in Refseq, could I annotate Gm47283 to Erdr1 http://www.ensembl.org/Mus_musculus/Gene/Summary?g=ENSMUSG00000096768;r=Y:90784738-90816464

MGI is the official setter for mouse gene names. If they haven't given it a name, then there isn't an official name yet. http://www.informatics.jax.org/marker/MGI:6096131

Addendum: If RefSeq have given them names, these are most likely based on homology.
