Mapping TE insertions to recombination rates?
Hello, I am trying to examine a correlation between recombination rate and transposable element insertion in primates. I was planning on using already available RepeatMasker outputs, but am unsure on how to align this data to something like HapMap in order to make this comparison. Would appreciate any input. Thank you.
