Hi all, I am working on a project in which molecular docking studies are needed for a protein whose structure has been resolved by cryo-electron microscopy. I saw that the number of protein complexes in the Protein Data Bank obtained by cryo-electron microscopy (some of them with nearly 2 Å resolution) is growing, so I'd like to have your opinion about their use for molecular docking studies. Most of the scientific papers I've read so far report the use of structures obtained by X-ray or homology modeling. Shall I resort to homology modelling or X ray structure from another mammal? Or it's "safe" to use the electron microscopy structure? Any suggestion is highly appreciated
