RNA-Seq and WGS analysis applied in genes expression

Hello,

I need to find some publications about an analysis of the diversity of gene expression based on WGS and RNA-Seq.

I would like to sequent the genome and the transtripts (a sample of liver tissue and muscle tissue) in three individuals of pig. I would like to explain differences in expression using non-coding DNA sequences. Research will be based on WGS and RNA-Seq. Do you know articles about similar issues? Or any other proposition how to use a WGS and RNA-Seq together to do research about expression analysis?

Any idea? How to analyse Gene Expression based on RNA and DNA sequences together?

I am not aware of any major study that has analysed these data types together. You may have to do some form of a manual screen over your results and then focus on the regions of interest. For example, one method would be to see how mRNA transcription alters between a reference and variant allele at a specific locus.
