I am trying to translate some python code (seen here) into R. I am having real difficulty doing this. I have been attempting to replicate the results in R but to no success. The dataset consists of recorded epileptic seizure from 11500 subjects/people.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What have you already tried? I presume that you can get your data in the correct format for R?

I have been doing regression in R for a few years now, but never in Python. Maybe we can meet somewhere in the middle. Note that I recently posted some code (but for lasso-penalised multinomial regression) here: How to exclude some of breast cancer subtypes just by looking at gene expression?
