How to determine the size of the insert in the vector.
Hi all,
I have sequenced a BAC DNA (ECORI digested) and got back the results. How can I determine the size of my insert? Thank you.

You don't say what kind of sequencing. But a generic answer would be if you are able to assemble the data into a single contig you would be able to get that information. If that is not what you are looking for then this is likely not a bioinformatics question and may be closed.
