Assemble genomes over 100 Mb with the portal SMRT Analysis Software v4.0

Hi all!

I have a dataset of PacBio sequences and I'm testing different de novo assembly software. Now I would like to try the SMRT Analysis Software and its portal. The latest version available today (June 2017) is the 4.0.

Is it possible to assemble genomes greater than 100 Mb with the version 4.0 using the portal?

The manual of the version 4.0 does not seem to indicate this kind of limitation, but I would like to have confirmation from some users that are using this version before installing the program.

Do you mean SMRT Link 4.0? Check what assembler it is running. If it is Falcon, then for sure, you can assemble genomes >100Mb.
