Together with the Uni Freiburg, we're creating a new Ph.D. program aimed at those explicitly interested in doing both wet-lab (e.g., molecular biology) and dry-lab (bioinformatics) experiments. In other words, one of the goals is to train researchers who can bridge the gap between generating samples at the bench and analysing NGS sequencing of them on the command line and in R.
