cd hit problem

Hi every one

I am trying to check to protein sequence similarity using cd hit 2d was not successful and give error message was

Fatal Error: Failed to open the database file Program halted !!

do anyone know about it?

Can you post the exact command you used for cd-hit?

In addition to not asking a good question, you are trying to cluster a non-existing file - more likely, you are passing the wrong location to cd-hit.
